After watching a Strawberry Shortcake video at her aunt & uncle's home, Hannah fell in love with her! Not only are their favorite colors red, but they both love strawberries, friends, ponies, cakes & frilly pink clothes. Grandma Lark just happened to have a Strawberry Shortcake cake pan & was already planning to use it. So, the theme for Hannah's bday came together. She loved it, especially her strawberry princess crown, balloon and throne.
We had a small party with just Logan's immediate family. My "sister" from college, Alli, also made her way up with her little family. We ate some yummy lunch and opened presents, all of which Hannah was aching to play with the moment she tore them from their wrapping. She did lots of cute poses in her new little outfits & love to wear them at home while dancing in front of the mirror. Ask my dad - she got that from me. ;)
It was a fun weekend & Hannah still talks about her "Darbury Shortcake" birthday cake. According to her, "It was my favorite birthday cake I ever seen!" Following are some photos of her enjoying gifts at home. She LOVES to pose for the camera!
